Considerations in Consumer-led Design

Designing with the target consumer in mind, we should consider:

Their lifestyle-current level of activity, sedetery activity, possibility to change this activity, ways of fitting our product around their lifestyle and making it part of their new lifestlye in the most convenient way for the consumer, what technology the consumer is familiar with.

Technology-what technology the consumer uses, has access to, finds most user friendly, is willing to lear,n, and enjoys interacting with.

Wrist worn device-what does the consumer currently wear, what kiind of product do THEY want to monitor inactivity, how should the device alert them to be active every so often? what would be most suitable within their lifestyle and environment? Colour, design, functionality, use, technological use, inconspicous design should all be considered.

Activities-A list of suggested activities could be created with the consumer in mind for them to complete both at home and at the workplace. This must be relevant to their age, fitness levels, lifestyle and surroundings.
